Finnish photographer Tommi Lindgren took the SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports to a hockey game between JYP Jyväskylä and Tampereen Ilves in the Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland.
“- The lens was great and fast, and I was really surprised when I got the photos on the editing screen and the photos were very sharp. At first, I felt like the focus missed a couple of shots that it maybe shouldn´t have, but that was when we were shooting through the dirty screen in the corner of the arena. That feeling disappeared completely when I got to shoot between the benches and straight to the ice without any obstructions blurring the image.”, Tommi said after the game.

“- Overall I felt like I was in full control of what I could capture with the lens, and it was only about me getting the shots, without any limitations regarding the gear. That feeling became even stronger when I saw how well the lens managed to capture all the images when viewing them on a bigger screen. Quality felt very good and the lens was surprisingly light. From this experience, I would say that it is easily the best 70-200mm F2.8 for that price.”, Tommi ends with.
Taking a look at Tommi’s photos, we certainly have to say that he managed to freeze the action in an amazing way!
